WEEKE as the strongest subsidiary within the worldwide operating HOMAG Group AG is specialized in manufacturing High-Tech CNC, Throughfeed-Drilling, Drill- and Fitting assembly machines for the woodworking range.

The education of the apprentices at the machine manufacturer in Herzebrock posses a high significance.
Currently 59 young trainees are educated at WEEKE, a quota of 10%. With appr. 12 %, the female apprentices are represented very strongly, not only in the commercial but also in the handicraft range.

Recognizing "Talent" to promote and in conclusion to continuously develop their talent is the prime objective of my job, according to head trainer Olaf Remmers.
The exceptional exam preparation by WEEKE has ensured that in the past years all trainees successfully concluded their apprenticeship. Furthermore due to special performances appr. 20 % of the apprentices were able to reduce their education spell.
"Following a successful final examination we gladly take on all trainees due to their acquired skills and knowledge of the internal structure at WEEKE. The investment in our junior staff is the basis for continuous development and local loyalty" according to Holger Häsner, head trainer for the commercial apprentices at WEEKE.
